I am aiming to provide lessons during the summer as a student who recently completed her A levels at Ysgol Dyffryn Aman. I hold an offer for a degree in Biology at The University of Oxford beginning in October, and therefore my sessions will cater more towards students who wish to either improve on their GCSE results, or those who wish to get ahead in their studies for the new academic year starting in September. My sessions will run from June-early September. I aim to provide support and develop confidence in GCSE students across Chemistry, Biology, and English (both language and literature) as I achieved A* in those subjects at GCSE level, with 10 A*’s and three A’s overall. I have also just finished studying the mentioned subjects at A level, and therefore I feel I have gained an in-depth understanding of them which I hope I can use to support students. As I am 18, I would be in a similar age range as the students which I believe would be great as my experience is similar to theirs, and I was in their position recently. My sessions would be catered to the individual and would focus on them and their goals, as not everyone is aiming for full marks at GCSE or A level. These personalised sessions will be held online and will be an hour each unless discussed in advance. My primary focus is to support students who are interested in learning more about their subject, or who are looking for a extra support for an easier transition to the upcoming academic year.
