I adapt my lessons to tailor to the student as everybody learns differently. I will focus on breaking down grammar as well as key content themes. I also understand the exam frame work and how to maximise getting marks in each discipline. I like to use mind maps, colours and visual aids to teach as it helps with recall and clarity. I can assist with class tasks and homework as well as providing my own training aids to assist with revision.

I am a Civil Engineering Student at Nottingham Trent University. In my free time, I like learning languages and developing my skills in the workplace such as active listening techniques and psychology. My dissertation topic is on the development of young professionals in construction as it aligns with my passion for learning, particularly coaching young people starting their careers and developing their skills and passions. I believe that young people need more career support earlier and this comes from being exposed to new things such as learning languages, helping them to understand their own passions and values.

I achieved Grade 9 in Spanish, German and Physical Education at GCSE, Grade 8 in English Literature, Combined science and History and Grade 7 in Mathematics and English Language.

I completed my placement year in August 2025 where I was a setting out engineer for a principal contractor in the UK. The professional and personal development I have discovered has been invaluable and it has inspired me to raise more awareness for young people to consider wider career options than the stereotypical ones advised in schools at a younger age. I came to construction slightly through chance and it has become my main interest as a career purely from my own investigation. I want to support young people in exploring career options and developing soft skills through effective communication, channelled through learning languages.
