I am new to tutoring but have experience working with young children adults and young adults. I was a cadet and volunteered at Girl Scouts for 3 years. I am friendly, open-minded and find it very important to make any students feel as comfortable as possible. This means adapting the learning environment to what works best and moving at a comfortable pace. Whether only 1 session is needed, or several over a longer period of time, I am committed to doing my best to uplifting students and helping them to feel confident in their own work.
Whilst I am confident in the Biology subject (I am a current Bioscience student, and received an A for Biology A Level), I will ensure that I do research on the desired topics before lessons to avoid any confusion. I believe that the best way to learn is to practice - getting things wrong is a part of the process! I am also willing to help provide resources that students can do use in their own time, and suggest activities that they can do in their own time to help support them.
I cannot guarantee success, but I can guarantee that I will put in my best to support anyone that needs it. I am passionate about Biology and learning, and understand how difficult and stressful GCSEs can be. I understand that sometimes all that is needed is to have someone else explain a topic which makes it 'click', and I hope that that is what I can provide here.
