Miko Booth

Currently a French and Spanish student at university, I also have recent experience of living and working in both France and Spain. Having gone through both GCSEs and A levels of both languages in recent years, I know how challenging it can be to follow the course.

Through my experience, I have come to learn that learning is much more manageable and rewarding when you study something that you are passionate about. This is why I believe in taking a personal approach to lessons, learning languages through the topics that you find interesting. My lessons follow the existing curriculum at the level that you are studying for, modified to suit your interests, whether that means lessons are based around music, sport, art or anything else!

I am also a strong believer that learning a language means so much more than just learning grammar rules and vocabulary. For me, learning about culture is just as important and also helps in properly understanding a language. This doesn't just mean French and Spanish culture, but also the cultures of other French and Spanish speaking countries around the world. I will never claim to be an expert in every culture, but I am always eager to learn more myself, and I hope to share that learning with you.

To summarise, lessons with me will help you approach your GCSEs or A levels in a way that best suits you, learning about the topics that interest you as well as taking a more holistic approach to language learning.
