A typical hour starts with a relaxed chat, so you can warm up and I can hear how you’re getting on. Then we focus on one clear thing: a grammar point, some vocabulary, a text or a listening task. We practise it straight away by speaking and writing, and I correct you as we go, kindly but honestly. We finish by looking at what went well and what to practise before next time.
If you’re preparing for an exam, we use tasks similar to the real ones. For IB and AP, that means oral practice, written work, reading and listening, plus feedback so you know exactly how to score higher. For the DELE, I help you with each part of the paper, the timing, and the mistakes students make most often, at any level from A1 to C2.
I’ve taught children, teenagers and adults for 28 years, so I know how to adjust my pace and my explanations. I’m patient, and I don’t mind explaining something three different ways. If it helps, I can also use a little English or Italian.
I use screen sharing, short videos, and interactive tools, and I send notes or tasks after the lesson if you’d like more practice.
