I am a highly accomplished mathematician with a proven track of exceptional academic success. I achieved a Grade 9 in both GCSE Maths and GCSE Further Maths, followed by an *A in A-Level Maths, which I completed in one year. This unique journey has given me a comprehensive understanding of the entire secondary maths curriculum, from foundation GCSE to advanced A-Level concepts. I understand not only what to learn but, crucially, how to learn efficiently and effectively under pressure.

I have experience teaching a GCSE student maths and they have gone from foundation to higher now. I understand that every student is different. I quickly identify your own learning styles and adapt my approach to suit you. I create a safe, judgement - free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe this is the first step to learning.

I begin by identifying the topic which is most troubling for the student. I will then break it down for them in simple terms, and give them examples. We then apply this into an exam style question, teaching crucial exam - technique, including where you get the marks for each specific question. I incorporate techniques that will strengthen long - term memory, such as active recall. This is to make sure the knowledge they learn will stick with them. My sessions will be very interactive and encourage students to think aloud as they problem solve, allowing me to guide their thought process in real - time.

My goal is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and self belief to succeed in their exams.
