Michelle Wong

I've known Michelle for more than a year; she helped me a lot last year with my Spanish GCSE. Without her, I would not have achieved an 8 because my Spanish teachers always predicted that I would not get higher than a 6. I was able to get a high grade overall because of my speaking exam mark. Michelle's lessons are not like any others – the way she teaches isn't like how your typical teacher would. I think it's so much better when tutors find unique and interesting ways to get their students to improve their language skills, and not just by completing worksheets, etc. For example, she would sometimes ask me to present any topic I’d like for 5-10 minutes in Spanish. Even when I made mistakes, she never criticised me for it, and instead, she would find ways to make sure I don't make the same mistake again. She's great and I definitely recommend her as a tutor.

Michelle is an excellent tutor! She has online tutored me for the past year and a half. Without her, I wouldn’t be as consistent with my Spanish learning. Because of Michelle, I have had the confidence to apply everything I’ve learnt, mainly conversationally, when I have travelled to various cities in Spain for holiday. What I love the most is she doesn’t make you feel bad when you make mistakes. Instead, she’s so patient with you and will make sure you fully understand the mistake before moving on. Honestly, she’s fab!!!

Michelle has been a great help for our daughter in developing her Spanish from a standing start in year 9. Our daughter found it hard to keep up in school class and Michelle has helped massively in bringing the language alive for her. TB
