I typically begin with a quick review of the previous session's material, then introduce a new concept through clear, step-by-step examples. From there, we work through practice problems together, gradually shifting responsibility to the student as their confidence grows. I always leave time for guided independent practice and a final recap with specific takeaways.

I'm proud to say that my approach delivers real results. The majority of my students see noticeable improvement within the first few weeks, with many rising by at least one full letter grade by the end of the term. I've consistently helped students move from failing to passing, and from passing to excelling. Whether the goal is exam preparation, assignment catch-up, or long-term mastery, my track record shows that focused, personalized tutoring makes a measurable difference.

My background as a qualified forensic scientist means I bring strong analytical thinking and a methodical approach to problem-solving—skills that transfer effectively across the multiple subjects I teach, including math, biology, chemistry and statistics. I have experience helping students at various levels across different disciplines, from reinforcing foundational skills to preparing for exams. I also encourage questions throughout and adapt my pace and teaching style based on what each student needs at that moment, regardless of the subject. Ultimately, my goal is not just to help students pass a single course, but to teach them how to think critically and approach any academic challenge with confidence.
