I am organised and thorough and have an energetic and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning. I'm a parent, and so I understand how difficult it is to motivate and keep students on task during these tough exam years. Navigating that jump from GCSE to A Level comes with a lot of unexpected pitfalls, and the exams have changed so much in the last 10 years that parents often struggle to understand where the student is going wrong - they did really well at GCSE, seem to be studying, but are getting increasingly overwhelmed and frustrated by their test results.

Biology and Chemistry are not hard, quite often it's the onslaught of information that is given, I break it down for you and build up your understanding from there. I have taught both subjects for 15 years, so I understand the links between the two courses, the overlaps, the differences and I know where students find themselves in difficulty.

Past papers are key - I have made interactive powerpoints of every WJEC exam question ever. Animated mark schemes will help you to see what the examiner is looking for, this helps me to make links between the theory that you are taught in school, and the exam questions that catch you out.
