My lessons are friendly, interactive and focused on helping you learn in a way that works for you. I believe lessons should be more than just listening to someone explain a topic, so I like to make them engaging with questions, conversations, examples, activities and plenty of opportunities for you to participate.

At the beginning of a lesson, we’ll look at what you already know and what you would like to improve. We’ll then work through the topic step by step, making sure you understand each part before moving on. If something feels difficult, that’s completely okay! I’ll explain it in different ways and use simple examples until it makes sense.

Depending on the subject and your goals, our lessons might include reading, writing, vocabulary, comprehension, practice questions, quizzes, games or short challenges. I can also help with homework, revision, preparation for tests or simply building confidence in a subject.

I have a strong academic background, including an A in IGCSE First Language English and a 5 in AP English Language and Composition. I also have several years of leadership experience, including serving as Student Council President, which has helped me develop strong communication, organisation and mentoring skills.

Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable during our lessons. You can ask as many questions as you need, make mistakes and take your time. There is no pressure to get everything right immediately!

My goal is for you to finish each lesson thinking, “I understand this now!” while also becoming more confident and independent in your learning.
