Hi, I'm Micheal!

I'm a passionate and results-driven Maths tutor with experience teaching students from Year 7 all the way to A-Level and GCSE. I love helping students who find Maths difficult to finally get it and build real confidence and independence.

My Experience and Qualifications:
I have taught Maths, Economics, and Geography across the UK curriculum including KS3, GCSE, A-Level and other international curriculums. I have supported many students to move from failing grades to Grade 6 to 9 at GCSE and A and A star at A-Level by focusing on gaps and exam strategy.

My Teaching Method:
1. Understand First - We start by finding gaps and building strong, solid foundations. No rushing.
2. Practice plus Exam Technique - Lots of past paper questions, step by step methods, model answers, and time management tips for GCSE and A-Level exams.
3. Confidence plus Support - I am very patient, encouraging, and I adapt my explanations to how each student learns best whether visual, practical, or step by step.
4. Tools and Feedback - I use an interactive online whiteboard, digital worksheets, homework with detailed feedback after every session, and regular progress reports for parents.

Who I Help:
Year 7 to Year 11 students for Maths foundation, higher, and GCSE prep.
A-Level Maths students aiming for A and A star grades.
Students who are struggling, have maths anxiety, or need extra support to catch up.

My goal is not just better grades, but students who actually understand and enjoy Maths. I provide regular progress updates to parents and a clear learning plan after the trial.
