Michael Ogiri

My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s level and goals. I begin by understanding what you already know and identifying the areas where you need the most support. From there, we work through concepts step-by-step before applying them to progressively more challenging problems.

A typical lesson combines clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice, and independent problem-solving. I encourage you to explain your thinking as we go, because I believe understanding the reasoning behind a solution is much more valuable than simply memorising a formula or procedure.

I have a strong academic background in Mathematics and Further Mathematics, having studied Statistics, Mechanics, and Applied Mathematics during my A-levels and Irish Leaving Certificate. My medical education has further developed my logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Whether you are struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an examination, or simply want to become more confident in Mathematics, I will adapt the pace and difficulty of our lessons to suit you.

Most importantly, my lessons are a judgement-free environment. I encourage questions, mistakes, and curiosity because these are all part of learning. My goal is not just to help you get the right answer, but to help you understand why it is right and become confident enough to solve similar problems independently.
