About me

My lessons are relaxed, practical, and conversation-driven. Since I don't have formal teaching experience, I focus on what I can do best: being a native Cantonese speaker (with fluent Mandarin) who enjoys chatting. Each lesson, I'll pick a different everyday topic—like ordering food, taking public transport, shopping, or small talk with colleagues—so you learn real, use-it-today Chinese.

The format is simple: we talk. I'll introduce 5–10 useful phrases or vocabulary words related to the topic, explain how they're used in daily life, and then we practise through guided conversation. You're encouraged to make mistakes—that's how you learn. I'll also provide a short list of phrases for you to memorise after each session, but no quizzes or pressure. Just repetition and real use.

My goal is to help you feel more comfortable speaking Chinese in casual settings. If you want a chill, low-pressure way to build confidence and practical vocabulary, my lessons are for you.
