I will offer student tailored lessons to meet the needs of the student I am working with.

An initial taster session free of charge will be offered to ensure I am the right fit your child.

Working through the course section by section stopping and reworking topics until myself and your child are confident that we have it mastered. I will also begin each session with a refresher task to ensure that no previous progress is lost.

With the ability to work with dyslexic and students with dyscalculus I understand the importance of teaching students with their specific needs rather than a text book one size fits all scheme.

My passion for maths and my joy of teaching will be clear and help build a supportive environment to learn and progress without the fear of judgment.

Lessons will be an hour long and will all follow this plan tailored to each topic and student.

Worksheets will be provided when needed and sent over in advance to the lesson and all work will be reviews and given feedback on.

First 10 minutes - check in / refresher task
10-20 minutes - topic explanation and examples
20-45 minutes - applying knowledge into practise.
45-55 minutes- feedback and short quiz.
end of lesson check in.

I also provide a colour coded check list for each student so that we can clearly see all progress and celebrate achievements.
