I believe that every student can succeed in maths with the right support. My goal is to make sure each student leaves a lesson with a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts they're learning so they can solve similar problems independently and walk into their exams with confidence.

Every lesson is tailored to the student's individual needs and learning style. We will begin by identifying any gaps in understanding before working through topics step by step using clear explanations and plenty of examples. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson, as I want each student feel comfortable exploring ideas instead of simply just memorising answers.

For students preparing for GCSEs, I incorporate exam-style questions into lessons from an early stage so they become familiar with the wording, techniques and time management required for the exam. We will regularly revisit previous topics to strengthen long term retention and track progress over time.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Financial Mathematics and use maths every day in my professional role as a Service Charge Accountant. This allows me to explain mathematical concepts in a practical, logical way that students often find easier to understand.

Whether a student is aiming to pass their GCSE, improve by a few grades, or achieve the highest marks, my lessons are designed to build confidence, develop strong problem solving skills, and create a positive attitude towards maths.
