I am friendly and genuinely interested in understanding your motivations, strengths and weaknesses. I have been a language student and can share the tips and advice, which helped me to succeed. I believe that everyone can learn a language and that with the right tools, it can be a deeply rewarding experience, which can open up the world to you like it did for me!
I have experience mentoring PhD students and teaching French to students from 7 to 16 years of age, so I am comfortable with younger and more mature students. I like to make lessons engaging and relevant and will help you to set SMART goals based on your circumstances. I can help you to gain confidence speaking, writing and listening in French. There is no such thing as a silly question and the best part about learning a language is that it’s ok to make mistakes - it’s part of the learning process and is expected!
I am patient and will encourage you to progress at your own pace and to have fun as you learn!
As a current Cover Supervisor with experience covering the French national curriculum, I help you to practise and to revise key concepts, which will help you to succeed in your exams.
I will encourage you to immerse yourself in the language: music, tv, film and even football can be useful sources of knowledge and inspiration! Not to mention the Eurostar for a quick trip to Paris, the home of the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, les Champs Élysées and les crepes to immerse yourself in French language and culture!
What are you waiting for!
