I am passionate about supporting children to feel confident in their learning and to reach their full potential. I currently work in a school setting where I support pupils aged 8–13, and through this experience I have developed a strong understanding of how children learn and the challenges some pupils may face in the classroom.

Alongside my work in education, I am a Higher Level Communication Practitioner (HLCP), delivering speech, language, and communication support for children who may need additional help with understanding, expressing themselves, or building confidence in learning. This role has given me valuable experience in supporting comprehension, vocabulary development, memory skills, and communication.

I enjoy creating engaging learning experiences and finding ways to make learning meaningful for each child. Every pupil is different, and I take pride in adapting activities so that they suit the child’s interests, strengths, and learning style.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy creative activities and exploring new ideas, which often inspires the fun and interactive approach I bring into my lessons.

My goal is always to help children feel more confident in their abilities, develop strong learning skills, and leave each session feeling proud of what they have achieved.

I aim to make learning engaging, supportive, and tailored to each child. I believe children learn best when they feel confident and interested in what they are doing, so I incorporate games, fun activities, and interactive tasks into my lessons to keep pupils motivated.

Memory plays a key role in learning, so I often use memory-based games and activities to help pupils strengthen their recall skills and retain new information. I also encourage children to think beyond the task itself. For example, when working on inference or comprehension, we may discuss the wider world and real-life situations to help deepen their understanding.

I tailor lessons to each child’s interests, strengths, and areas for development so that learning feels relevant and enjoyable.

Lessons typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour and include a mixture of teaching, activities, discussion, and practice tasks.

I have experience working with children aged 8–13 and I am a Higher Level Communication Practitioner (HLCP), delivering speech, language, and communication support in schools. My sessions are particularly helpful for pupils who need support with comprehension, vocabulary, communication skills, and confidence in learning.
