I offer friendly, supportive and engaging Maths lessons for children and young people across primary and secondary school levels. With around 5 years of tutoring experience, I have taught students both through a tutoring company and privately, giving me experience working with different ages, abilities and learning styles.
I have GCSE and A Level qualifications and I am currently studying at university. My academic experience, combined with my tutoring background, allows me to explain mathematical concepts clearly and break down difficult topics into smaller, manageable steps.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to their individual needs. Whether a student needs help understanding a particular topic, wants to build their confidence, needs support with homework or is preparing for tests and exams, I can adapt my lessons accordingly.
My lessons are interactive and student-focused. I encourage students to ask questions and work through problems themselves, while providing guidance and support when needed. I believe making mistakes is an important part of learning, so I aim to create a patient and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable developing their skills.
For younger students, I focus on building strong foundations and making Maths enjoyable. For secondary school students, I can provide more structured support with key topics, exam preparation and developing effective problem-solving techniques.
My goal is not only to help students improve their Maths ability, but also to build their confidence and help them become more independent learners. I want every student to finish a lesson feeling more confident and understanding something they may previously have found difficult.
