Mehdi Ajami

My lessons combine methods of teaching from all around the world, specifically schools that have produced gold medal candidates in international olympiads. I help students learn the same methods and exam techniques which helped me do my GCSE mathematics a year early and get my A*, and also made sure I get my A* in mathematics A-Level and finish my BSc in Mathematics and Data Science with a 1st class degree (average over 85%).

Our lessons will be a mixture of exam style questions, and identifying weaknesses to make sure every aspect of mathematics is easily understandable by the students. We will focus on breaking down complex topics, and digesting them in bite size chunks. The point is for the student to deeply understand mathematics, and start to think like a mathematician, know where every formula actually came from, and strengthen their foundation like never before, which in turn will allow them to learn anything they want in the future - a skill not limited to mathematics anymore.

I have endless resources at my disposal, some of which I have designed myself and will provide to the student. The resources come from all around the world, giving the student a unique advantage to learn a topic from multiple different angles. I will also provide many independent learning resources for the student to study in their own time, but our main focus is definitely not homework. The focus is to learn during the lesson, and also learn how to apply the knowledge gained to real life scenarios.
