Megan Woodley

I have one camera pointing at my face and one camera pointing at my hand so I can show you how to draw diagrams and label, but also to show you how to decode exam questions to answer in the right way to get top marks.
I use PowerPoints for key information and colour code so you can see definitions that you have to learn by heart.
I like using diagrams to formulate answers before writing them out "properly" to ensure that information isn't just being stored as words in your brain, pictures store well too.
If you are someone who doesn't enjoy being on the spot/answering questions, I can style our sessions to be more like a lecture where you receive information and stop me if you get confused.
If you are someone who struggles to memorise facts I can style the session to play games or use pictures or songs to help you.
If you are someone who is confident with the content but is looking for support on exam techniques we can compare basic, good and outstanding student answers, we can take an answer and work backwards to figure out the question that was asked and we can really work on command words in questions to ensure you are doing exactly what the examiner wants.
To summarise, I will alter my tutoring style to suit you and you can request that I alter the style/format if you feel it isn't working for you.

I request that you let me know the exam board you are using and the course (single sciences or combined science, higher tier or foundation tier) so I can ensure my sessions completely align with the exam you will be taking.

I wish you the very best of luck!
