Before you learn all about my lesson style, experience and love for teaching, here are some fun-facts about me!
1) I love to be creative, and you will regularly see my online classroom background change with all of the arts and crafts I get up to. Some of my students from China even helped me to create a huge red dragon to celebrate the New Year.
2) I have a cat, Mr. Linguini. He regularly likes to help out in my lessons, and is a fabulous mathematician, of course!
3) I enjoy learning about my students' interests and talents... I am a huge Pokemon fan, play all sorts of video games, and love reading a wide range of books. When needed, we can pause the lesson, have a quick chat, before getting back to the work. Learning should be fun, and by getting to know my students beyond the maths classroom, I can adapt my lessons to fit their personalities.

I truly believe that maths lessons should be fun, interactive, and adapted to each student's needs. My lessons will follow the White Rose curriculum for primary-aged lessons, and the Pearson Edexcel curriculum for secondary students. Of course, this can be adjusted based on your needs. My aim is to reduce anxiety around mathematics, ensure that you feel comfortable and confident to answer lots of types of questions, and to leave each lesson smiling.

I have a huge range of experience in teaching students as young as 5 all the way up to adults. I am a dual-specialist; my education career started in teaching English to speakers of other languages, then moved on to working with children with SEND, before training to become a secondary maths teacher. I loved all of these roles, so after almost 5 years of teaching maths in a secondary school, I decided to delve into the world of online tutoring. Since then, I have taught students online from all over the world in both English and maths. I have a huge passion for online tutoring, and have seen how one-to-one consistent support can help my students shine!

I hope to connect with you soon!
