Experience supporting classmates and younger students with History has helped develop strong communication and teaching skills. This has included explaining difficult topics, helping with essay structure, going through key events and dates, and practising exam-style questions.

Supporting others has also developed patience and the ability to adapt explanations depending on how someone learns best. Whether a student needs help understanding a topic, structuring an essay or building confidence before an exam, lessons can be tailored around their individual needs.

A friendly and encouraging approach is used to make students feel comfortable asking questions, while interactive activities, discussions, timelines, source analysis and exam practice help make lessons engaging and effective.
