My tutoring sessions are interactive, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs and learning pace. I teach online using a dual setup; a digital whiteboard on my iPad for clear, visual explanations and a laptop for face-to-face video interaction. This setup allows me to work through problems step-by-step in real time, just as we would on paper, while maintaining strong communication and engagement throughout the lesson.

I use a range of source materials, including textbooks, revision websites, and exam board resources, to ensure my students get a well-rounded understanding of each topic. Lessons are organised topic by topic, allowing us to build knowledge systematically, while also leaving space for deep dives into theory when needed to strengthen understanding. I regularly incorporate past paper-style questions and worked examples to help students develop confidence in applying their knowledge under exam conditions.

I also like to prepare custom mark schemes for class tests or practice papers, giving students clear feedback on where they can improve and how to achieve higher marks. Above all, I encourage my students to drive the content and pace of our sessions. I regularly check that they’re comfortable with the material, adapting the lesson flow to their confidence and goals. My aim is to create a supportive, flexible learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, make mistakes, and progress steadily toward their best possible results.
