Hi my name is Matt. I am an English teacher from the UK. I live in Bari Italy and I am fluent in Italian. I am very friendly and really enjoy teaching online. My lessons are focused on improving confidence in speaking and interacting with native speakers in all different situations. I aim to make my lessons fun and ensure that all students improve each of the main language skills. I have many materials for working on grammar, accuracy, pronunciation and self confidence. After a course of lessons each student will feel that they have become stronger in many areas of English and have also gained knowledge of many different topics such as geography, science and business. I have been an English teacher for ten years and have taught many lessons online and have taught all levels and ages. I am flexible and can create lessons to suit each student's needs. I am friendly and make sure that all students feel comfortable and confident in every lesson. Before each lesson I prepare conversation topics, grammar points, writing ideas, new phrases and idioms, music, games, interesting videos and role plays. Every lesson is planned out to be interesting, rewarding and fun. Students should feel that they have gained something from each lesson and have a lot of things they can work on through the week. I also encourage students to send me homework, stories, worksheets or audio files showing what they are working on and I am happy to mark and give feedback so we can improve even more.
