My lessons are friendly, structured and fully personalised to each student. I begin by understanding your level, your goals and the areas you find most challenging. From there, I create lessons that focus on building understanding, improving confidence and developing the knowledge and skills needed to make progress throughout your studies.

Each lesson will combine explanations with practical questions, discussion and guided problem-solving. I will break down difficult topics into manageable steps and check your understanding regularly, rather than simply moving through the syllabus. This allows us to identify gaps in your knowledge and address them before they become bigger problems.

As you progress, lessons can be adapted to what you need most. We can focus on specific topics, programming concepts, exam questions, revision or exam technique, depending on your priorities. I will encourage you to explain your thinking and attempt problems independently, helping you become a confident Computer Science student.

A focus will be exam preparation and achieving the best grades possible. We will practise exam-style questions, learn how to structure strong answers, identify mistakes and develop revision strategies. Rather than memorising information without understanding it, I will help you understand why things work, making it easier to apply your knowledge to unfamiliar questions.

My aim is for every student to leave each lesson feeling that they have learned something and are closer to their goals. Whether you need support with a topic, want to improve performance, or are aiming for top grades, I will provide guidance, feedback and encouragement while challenging you to reach your potential.
