Matthew is a patient and detailed tutor. He works by breaking difficult problems down to their basic components and builds them back up to their complex form. Would suit a GCSE/Nat 5 learner who wants to consolidate confidence in Maths by taking things slowly/step by step and developing a more rounded understanding of problems.

Matthew is an excellent tutor with a great ability to explain complex maths concepts clearly and step by step. I worked with him on OLGA-related engineering modelling topics (advanced, maths-based problem-solving), and he was always patient, structured, and very easy to follow. On top of that, he has a great sense of humour, which makes sessions genuinely enjoyable and helps take the stress out of learning. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for clear, supportive maths tutoring.
