Each lesson kicks off with a quick review of our last session to pinpoint any sticking points, then we break a new topic into bite-sized, logical steps—whether it’s algebraic manipulation, proof-style reasoning or calculus techniques—and map each concept back to exam specifications so you always know why it matters. You’ll jump straight into hands-on practice (past-paper questions, problem challenges or mini “projects”) while I give real-time feedback, highlight common pitfalls and demonstrate alternative methods using concept maps, interactive apps or a digital whiteboard. I weave in exam-smart strategies—time-management drills, answer-structuring templates and timed mini-tests—so you learn to think like an examiner, and I provide curated resources (worksheets, video walkthroughs and extension tasks) to reinforce learning between sessions. As a Durham Maths & Economics grad (Class of ’24) with a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and A*’s at A-Level, I tailor examples to your interests—from sports statistics to financial modelling—and adapt every lesson to your pace and goals. We’ll set clear, measurable targets each week, track your progress with short quizzes and at-a-glance dashboards, and adjust our plan so you’re always challenged but never overwhelmed. You’ll also have direct access to me for quick questions via message, plus weekly summaries sent to you or your parents so everyone stays in the loop.
