ManchesterI am American and a retired International school head and have known Matthew since he was a boy. He is an excellent person and a very strong teacher because he loves teaching and really enjoys the interaction with people. He has had a deep interest in language acquisition since his teens and is able to intuit the experience of the second language learner and guide him/her with logical steps, patience, and encouragement of questions. He understands that we do not really learn language, we acquire it, through use, through trial and wonderful error, through contemplation, and through finally grasping the system of a language, just as we did with our mother tongue. I highly recommend him.
