My lessons are engaging, supportive and tailored to the individual needs of each child. As a qualified primary school teacher with over 10 years of classroom experience, I understand that every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to suit their learning style, interests and pace.
Each lesson begins with a quick review of previous learning before introducing new concepts through clear explanations, practical activities and interactive tasks. I use a range of teaching resources, games and real-life examples to make learning enjoyable while ensuring children develop a deep understanding of the topic.
I can provide support in English, maths, phonics, reading, writing, spelling and preparation for SATs or school assessments. Whether your child needs help building confidence, catching up on missed learning or extending their abilities, lessons are carefully planned to meet their specific goals.
Throughout each session, I provide positive encouragement and regular feedback so that children feel motivated and proud of their progress. I also keep parents informed of what we have covered and offer suggestions for simple activities to reinforce learning between lessons.
I believe that building a positive relationship with each pupil is key to helping them succeed. By creating a calm, encouraging and enjoyable learning environment, children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and celebrating their achievements. My lessons are designed to inspire curiosity, develop resilience and help every child reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.
My aim is not only to improve academic achievement but also to develop confidence, independence and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
