My lessons are always fun and tailored to the students needs
I always listen to what their musical tastes are regardless of whether or not they dovetail with my own!
It is my aim, to nurture and develop talent and to enable the student to achieve their full potential!
I can use either traditional acoustic piano to teach on, or if you prefer, we can use digital instruments ie Nord Stage 3 88 + I use Logic Pro as my DAW of choice, where we can record lessons etc. The above I always use to develop aural skills with a contemporary approach to learning pieces, as well as learning how to read music in different styles etc.
Grade exams are of course available from 1 to 8 + I also can assist with Btech exams both with practical and theory elements of the exam
I am always happy to discuss in detail my potential students aspirations and obviously will do my absolute best to help them achieve those aspirations.
For example, I get many students asking me about playing in bands, recording and composing - with nearly 40 years of gigging and recording experience, I am well qualified to advise and teach on this area of music
Of course, if you just want to play for yourself for fun, then that is also absolutely fine!
