Mathushja Kumareshan

I am a current medical student and an experienced Maths Tutor with over 10 years of tutoring experience. Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently been a high-achieving maths student, developing both a deep understanding of the subject and a passion for teaching it.

My goal is to reshape students’ understanding of maths by breaking down complex concepts into simple, clear steps. I focus on building strong foundations so students can confidently grasp the basics before progressing to more challenging topics. Many of my students have shown significant improvement, progressing from lower grades to achieving much higher results.

My lessons are primarily conducted online, where I place strong emphasis on practising a wide variety of exam-style and topic-based questions. I offer preparation for GCSE Maths across all major exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, and others.

After each lesson, I provide detailed class notes and additional homework to reinforce learning. I am also readily available via WhatsApp or Google Classroom to answer any extra questions students may have outside of lesson time.

My priority is my students’ education and success rather than financial gain. I am flexible with pricing and happy to adjust fees for low-income students based on their financial circumstances.
