My online lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, abilities and academic goals. I begin by discussing the topics you find challenging and using practice questions to identify areas where you may need additional support.

Depending on your needs, lessons may focus on explaining difficult concepts, working through exam questions or improving exam technique. I use clear, step-by-step explanations, visual aids where helpful, and past papers to develop your understanding and confidence.

Lessons are interactive and flexible, so you're always encouraged to ask questions. I regularly assess your progress and adapt our sessions accordingly, including addressing topics you're currently struggling with at school. My aim is to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, learning from them and gradually becoming more confident and independent.

I also believe that effective tutoring goes beyond understanding the content covered during a lesson. I help students develop practical revision skills, including creating manageable revision timetables, exploring different study techniques and learning how to use past papers and mark schemes effectively. Rather than simply completing questions, I encourage students to review their answers, recognise recurring mistakes and revisit areas where they need further practice.

I also adapt my teaching as students progress, gradually reducing the guidance I provide as their understanding improves. This helps students become more confident when tackling unfamiliar questions independently and better prepared for their exams. Above all, I aim to make lessons encouraging, productive and suited to each student's pace of learning, helping them achieve their academic goals.
