Maryam Tumreen

I am an experienced and dedicated Mathematics teacher with around three years of teaching experience. I have taught Mathematics to students with different learning abilities, academic levels, and educational needs. My goal is to make Mathematics simple, understandable, and engaging while helping students develop confidence in their own problem-solving abilities.

My lessons are personalized according to each student’s level, goals, and areas that need improvement. I begin by understanding what the student already knows and identifying any difficulties they may have. I then explain new concepts step by step using clear language, examples, diagrams, and practical problem-solving techniques. Rather than encouraging students to memorize formulas, I focus on helping them understand the concepts behind them and learn how to apply them correctly.

During lessons, I encourage students to participate actively, ask questions, and explain their reasoning. I use guided practice to help students solve problems independently, gradually reducing support as their confidence improves. I can also provide targeted practice, revision, exam preparation, and help with challenging topics or assignments.

I am patient, friendly, supportive, and adaptable in my teaching approach. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust the pace and teaching method whenever necessary. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident making mistakes and asking questions.
