I have done 2 out of the 4 main stages of tajweed and soon to be finished with my 3rd. I passed the first two with exceptional grades. As a 14 year old this will be my first teaching experience that I hope both yourself and I can benefit from.
Sessions will be quite slow paced. We will first see where your level is if you had done something before (though my classes are for beginners or those with minimal experience with tajweed) and start from there. A typical lesson would start with a revision, then we move on to the new lesson and go through every part of it. Next, we will read some examples and answer any questions and finally read some Qur'an to practise the new section that we learnt.
Classes will be online with homework also being provided online. The homework won't be long ,usually takes 3 to 4 minutes but sometimes requires extra time. I would prefer if the student can give feedback, ask questions and ask to have more time on a specific section that maybe isn't making as much sense or needs more practice. There will be video links provided to reiterate what we will go through in the lesson and a pdf of the book we will use.
With arabic speakers the pdf and videos will be easy to understand but if you aren't native in the language then I can explain in the lesson directly and try to find more accessible sources that suit you. I can only give the lessons in English or Arabic which will be something to discuss (along with how many hours a week you would like to take the lessons in).
