I am a passionate and dedicated Mathematics teacher with 10 years of experience teaching primary and secondary school learners. Over the years, I have developed effective strategies that help students understand mathematical concepts in a simple, engaging, and meaningful way. My teaching experience includes both classroom instruction and remote tutorial sessions. I have been teaching face to face sessions in my class. In addition, I have also tutorial sessions for students in the USA and Africa through online platforms, which allowed me to work with learners from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds. Through online tutoring, I enhanced my communication, adaptability, and technology skills to ensure that students remain motivated and actively involved during lessons. I strongly believe that every student has the ability to succeed in Mathematics when guided with patience, encouragement, and the right teaching methods. My approach focuses on building students’ confidence while improving their analytical and problem-solving skills. One teaching method I use to capture students’ attention is the “Math in Real Life” approach, where I connect lessons to practical everyday situations such as shopping, sports, games, budgeting, and technology. This method helps students appreciate the value and relevance of Mathematics in their daily lives. I also incorporate interactive activities, visual presentations, short quizzes, and step-by-step problem-solving techniques to make learning enjoyable and student-centered. As an educator, my goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to inspire them to develop a positive attitude toward Mathematics and become independent, confident learners in the future
