Hi, I’m Cameron, a professional maths tutor with around a decade of tutoring experience, including two years full-time on Find Tutors. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham and teach students from primary level through to university, as well as adult learners.

Rates start from £27/hr for primary and adult learners; see the full price list above. The first lesson is completely free, regardless of length, and I do not increase the hourly rate for existing students.
I specialise in making maths clear, accessible and significantly less intimidating. Lessons are individually tailored to the student’s learning style, needs and goals, whether they need to build confidence, fill gaps in knowledge or prepare strategically for exams. I teach across the full ability range, from students aiming to pass to high-achieving students targeting top grades.
I have taught students aged 5–36 and have experience supporting autistic students and students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, ADHD and anxiety. I am dyslexic myself and am comfortable adapting explanations when traditional classroom methods are not effective.
Online lessons use Microsoft Teams and can include structured presentations, worked examples, screen-shared worksheets, a digital whiteboard with live annotation and pen-and-paper camera demonstrations. My approach combines detailed explanation, guided practice, independent attempts and reinforcement through homework.
At no additional charge, I can provide regular homework, detailed marking and feedback, personalised help sheets, digital flashcards, lesson feedback for parents and written progress reports. I am also available for questions between 7am and 10pm, seven days a week.
I am an independent tutor, so students and parents communicate directly with me. I personally manage the teaching, scheduling, preparation and feedback, with no standardised company programme restricting how lessons can be adapted.
Lessons can begin between 7am and 9pm, seven days a week, subject to availability. Lesson length and frequency are flexible, from occasional support to weekly, multiple-weekly or intensive tuition. I also support mathematically demanding areas of physics and science. DBS/CRB check available on request.
