I am a native speaking TEFL tutor from London, UK. My lessons are tailor made to suit the individual students' needs, whether this may be using flash cards and story boards for younger or less confident students, role play or quiz exercises for those wishing to improve on conversational English, or focusing on complex grammar and vocabulary for more proficient learners. I always have a Learning Objective for each of my lessons which is discussed at the beginning of every session. This could be, for example 'Asking for directions on holiday'. The lesson will then be structed in to different sections such as new vocabulary, questions and answers, common responses, and these will all accumulate with the student being able to navigate this conversation confidently by the end of the lesson. I strongly believe that reading highly improves a students' ability. Often I will ask a student to pick a news article based on an area of their interest which we will read through together, highlighting any words/sentences/phrases that are unclear, using a ''listen and repeat' method. This enables my learners to improve vocabulary and pronunciation whilst improving their confidence levels in both speaking and listening. I have many proven successes of up-levelling students' confidence and their ability to learn all areas of the English language. As a tutor I am methodical, experienced, engaging and approachable.
