My lessons are one to one and online, usually run through video call with screen sharing so we can code together in real time rather than me just talking at a slide. I start by figuring out where you actually are with the topic, not where you think you should be, so we're not wasting time on things you already know or rushing past things you don't. Lessons are hands on. Instead of just explaining a concept, I get you writing and running real code early on, since that's how it actually sticks. I break things into small, clear steps, check you understand before moving to the next one, and I'm happy to slow down, repeat things differently, or go over the same idea a few ways until it clicks. I'm currently completing an MSc in Computer Science and have a B.Eng. in Mechatronics Engineering, and I've worked several of my own coding and automation projects. Some of the Python work I've built myself includes a decimal to hexadecimal converter with unit tests, deployed through an automated CI/CD pipeline on AWS using Jenkins and Docker, and a set of smaller standalone Python programs including a currency converter, a travel expense tracker, a chatbot, an ATM simulator, and a quiz app. My MSc coursework in Software Engineering & DevOps has also involved building and testing Python based pipelines from scratch, so I'm comfortable teaching not just how to write Python, but how to test it properly and structure it like a real project rather than a one off script. so what I teach comes from things I've actually built, not just a textbook.
