I like to help through understanding what students already know, whether it's strong or weak, allowing me to elaborate further on a path they can understand. Instead of randomly introducing new topics (unless they know nothing originally), I could narrow a path to which the student is able to memorise, comprehend and confidently explain to others about their topic in detail. I would be able to teach Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls and every Power and Conflict poem. This range of English GCSE knowledge allows me to confidently express success in the students, beyond memorisation of quotes and key points of plays/novels and texts. I can recommend studying tips and sites, with my own personal resources that may benefit in developing critical context knowledge.
