Every lesson is carefully tailored to your individual interests, goals, and level of experience. Whether you are studying for GCSEs, A Levels, university exams, preparing a dissertation, or simply exploring art out of personal curiosity, I will adapt the content and pace to suit your needs.

My lessons are interactive and discussion-based. Together, we will analyse artworks through close visual observation while exploring their historical, social, and cultural contexts. I encourage students to ask questions, develop their own interpretations, and build confidence in expressing their ideas. Depending on your objectives, lessons may include image analysis, reading and discussing texts, exam preparation, essay planning and writing, research skills, or guidance on academic methodology.

Before our first lesson, I will take the time to understand your objectives, previous experience, and preferred way of learning so that we can build a personalised learning plan. I use high-quality visual materials, exhibition catalogues, scholarly texts, and other resources to make each session engaging and intellectually stimulating. After each lesson, I can provide notes, reading recommendations, or practical exercises to consolidate what we have covered and support your progress between sessions. Lessons can focus on improving academic performance, preparing for interviews or university applications, developing essay-writing skills, or simply gaining a richer understanding of the artworks, artists, and movements that interest you most.

Above all, I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, challenging ideas, and developing a genuine appreciation for art. My goal is not only to help you achieve your immediate objectives but also to give you the confidence and skills to continue exploring art independently.
