I am a final-year LLB student with experience mentoring and training others through both academic and legal voluntary work. Alongside my studies, I have previously lead a legal charity environment including management and delivery of its internal and external training, helping to support and develop volunteers working in demanding and often complex situations. This has strengthened my ability to explain difficult concepts clearly, adapt my communication style, and build confidence in others.

I teach GCSE Maths, English and Science, alongside A Level Law with a particular interest in Public Law, constitutional law, and essay-writing technique. But cover the entire A-Level Law Syllabus. My lessons are suitable for both mainstream and neurodivergent students, including students with ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety around education, or difficulties with confidence and concentration.

As someone with ADHD and dyslexia myself, I understand first-hand how frustrating traditional teaching methods can sometimes feel. Growing up, having a tutor who truly understood how my brain worked would have made a huge difference. Because of that, I focus heavily on creating lessons that are structured, supportive, and adapted to the individual student rather than relying on rigid teaching methods.

My lessons are typically one-to-one and usually last around 60 minutes, although this can be adapted depending on the student’s needs. I use a mixture of clear explanations, visual learning techniques, active recall, repetition strategies, exam practice, and practical examples to make learning more manageable and engaging. I also help students develop revision strategies, organisation skills, exam confidence, and techniques for approaching difficult questions without becoming overwhelmed.

Above all, I aim to create a calm, patient, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing confidence in their own abilities. My goal is not simply to improve grades, but to help students feel more capable and confident in learning overall.
