I am a firm believer that everyone has valuable experience to add to my lessons whether they're experienced working adults of young, curious students. Everyone deserves a chance to be heard and my lessons will reflect that.
That being said I will keep learning on track and make sure that every student comes out of the lesson with a greater understanding of the subject and they will be eager for the next lesson.
I like working in different environments and don't believe the classroom should be the only place for learning. I enjoy using real life learning and experiences in my work and also love when students interact with each other and myself as a teacher.
I use visual aids and fun scenarious in most of my lessons.
I also believe that every student is important and that equity in teaching is vital. I want them all to succeed and never feel they have to be quiet and struggle alone.
I have a special interest in neurodiverse students, being one myself and am working on qualifying on that basis. I have dyscalculia, ADHD and epilepsy so I am very aware of the challanges some students face and have a great deal of empathy for these students. I am happy to discuss anything if you have questions and even though I am a new tutor I have a world of other experiences that will make me a great choice.
