Experience

I have worked in the Community and Voluntary Sector since 2012 in Youth Work and this has ranged from youth worker, youth mentor, Restorative youth worker, project manager and Senior Manager.

Within my last two roles (2018-Present) I have/had significant roles within two youth organisations when it comes to senior management and obtaining practical experience with the areas of strategy, governance, organisational leadership, financial management, people management and stakeholder relationships.

Academically I have a BSc in Social Psychology and MSc in Applied Developmental Psychology.

Qualities

My main strength is listening to people and taking an genuine interest in what they are saying. I like to goal set and focus on solutions and help people achieve their maximum potential.

Teaching Methods

My teaching methods will be informal and led by the emerging needs of the students. There will be a focus on conversations and from this goals will be set and monitored on a regular basis. Students who are looking to work in community and voluntary sector, those who are studying youth work, psychology and those who are looking to get into management would benefit best from my support.
