Hi! I’m a dedicated Maths and English tutor with over 8 years of experience, and my greatest passion lies in helping students discover not only what they can achieve academically, but also how much potential they truly have within themselves.
I’ve worked with students across many stages – from Key Stage 1 through to GCSE and iGCSE, as well as preparing for key exams such as the 11+, UK SATs, and US SAT. What excites me most about tutoring is not just watching students improve their grades, but seeing them grow in confidence, independence, and belief in their own abilities.
Many students come to me feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or convinced that they “just can’t do” Maths or English. I love showing them that learning doesn’t have to feel intimidating – it can feel achievable, clear, and even enjoyable. By breaking concepts down into simple, structured steps and guiding them at a pace that suits their individual style, I help students rebuild their confidence, fill in gaps, and start to see progress for themselves. That moment when a student realises, “I can do this”, is always the most rewarding part of my work.
At the same time, I challenge high-achieving students to go further – to stretch themselves, master exam techniques, and reach the top grades they are aiming for. I provide the tools, strategies, and structured guidance to help them feel prepared, calm, and capable when exam season arrives.
My approach is personalised and student-centred:

We set clear, achievable milestones so progress feels visible and motivating.
I combine subject knowledge with proven exam strategies so students are fully prepared, not just academically but also mentally.
I offer ongoing support outside lessons – revision packs, video tutorials, and guidance – so students never feel they’re working alone.
?? This year, every one of my students improved by 1–2 grades above their predicted level. While I’m proud of those results, what matters to me even more is the confidence and pride students feel when they achieve beyond what they once thought possible.
Parents often tell me that their children finish lessons not only with stronger skills, but also with a new sense of belief in themselves. That’s because I make it my priority to create a supportive, encouraging space where students feel comfortable to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and celebrate their progress.
For me, tutoring is about more than just getting through the syllabus. It’s about showing students that they are capable of achieving high, giving them the confidence to trust their abilities, and equipping them with skills that will serve them well far beyond exams.
