Hello, I’m Maristella, a multilingual tutor offering personalised English and Italian lessons for students of different ages, backgrounds, and levels.

Over the past two years, I have helped students improve their language skills through tailored lessons focused on confidence, communication, and practical use of the language. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping people achieve their personal, academic, or professional goals in a supportive and engaging environment.

Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to each individual’s needs, learning style, and objectives. I begin by getting to know the student’s current level, preferred learning style, and personal goals, which allows me to create lessons that are both engaging and effective. Whether you want to improve conversational fluency, grammar, pronunciation, writing, or prepare for work, travel, university, or everyday communication, lessons are designed specifically around your needs.

My teaching approach combines explanation, discussion, and interactive activities. I typically introduce a new concept or skill, guide students through discussions and practical examples, and then provide opportunities to practise through exercises, conversations, and hands-on activities. I also encourage students to ask questions freely, as I believe active participation is essential for successful learning.

I aim to create lessons that are structured but dynamic, where students feel comfortable making mistakes, building confidence, and using the language naturally. I strongly believe that learning should be both productive and enjoyable, helping students stay motivated while progressing at their own pace.

Alongside teaching, my experience studying and working in multicultural environments has strengthened my communication skills and my ability to adapt lessons to different personalities and learning styles.
