I am a friendly and easy going Japanese tutor. I started my career as a tutor at a Japanese private institute for young students. I taught students aged between 8 to 16 Japanese, English, Math, Social studies and Science. Later, I worked as a B2B sales representative and decided to come back to education. I like to offer learning space and opportunities with fun conversations and relaxing atmosphere. This value comes from my own experience in learning foreign languages such as Spanish and Russian. Those who gave me language lessons were always cheerful and supportive, so I started to hope to make positive impact on others as well.
My life background as an individual who grew up in Japan also contributes to sharing cultural themes and tips not only grammars. I lived in some major cities in Japan(For example, Yokohama and Kyoto) and visited about 70% of prefectures. It would be nice to talk about diverse culture in Japan if you are interested. In addition to this, I speak relatively slowly in Japanese while most of Japanese people speak quite fast. I hope this would make you feel more relaxed to communicate with me during the classes. My classes are mostly available online via social apps or video meeting tools(e.g. Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Skype), however, in-person classes could be considered if you live nearby(please note that additional fees might cost if you prefer to take classes in person).
