Advert description
Hello! My name is Haruki Robinson, and I’m excited to share my love for languages with you. Having grown up in Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, and Germany, I’ve been surrounded by people with all kinds of backgrounds, from those fluent in English or Japanese to those just starting out. Over the years, I’ve naturally become the person friends, classmates, and colleagues turned to for help with language and I’ve always enjoyed guiding them toward confidence and growth.
That international upbringing gave me more than just exposure to different languages. It gave me an appreciation for how language shapes identity and connection. I understand the challenges of learning a new language firsthand, and I know how important it is to create a supportive space where students feel comfortable making mistakes and trying again.
I’ve also worked in a bilingual teaching environment at the National Theatre of Young Artists in Japan, a theatre academy where I taught students using both Japanese and English through theatre and dance.
My teaching style is flexible and personal. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all lessons. Instead, I focus on making each class engaging, approachable, and tailored to you. Whether you want structured lessons or more relaxed conversations, I’ll adjust so that learning feels natural and enjoyable.
Students often describe me as warm, approachable, and patient, and my goal is to make our time together both effective and fun. If you’re looking for someone who understands language as a bridge between cultures and people, I’d love to be part of your journey. お待ちしております!
