My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether it may be improving IB English grades, strengthening essay writing, or preparing university applications.

• Focused 45-minute sessions: Each lesson combines concept explanation, guided practice, and targeted feedback
• Interactive learning: I use digital whiteboards, visual aids, and discussion-based analysis to keep students engaged and thinking critically
• Skill-building approach: We work on essay structure, textual analysis, argument clarity, and expression
• Adaptable teaching: I adjust pace and methods based on each student’s learning style and areas for improvement
• Results-driven: Students leave each session with clear takeaways and actionable steps to improve
• Structured feedback: Between sessions, students are helped out with clear feedback in order to stay consistent and accountable. Where relevant, I incorporate past paper practice, marking criteria, and exam strategies to ensure students are not only improving their skills, but also performing effectively under timed conditions.

I have worked with 17+ students across different levels and backgrounds, supporting success in IB exams, university essays (UK & US), and Cambridge English qualifications. I hold a BA from Northwestern University, where I developed advanced skills in literature, critical analysis, and academic writing. Having lived and studied across four countries, I bring an international perspective and a strong understanding of systems like the IB. My background in performance and communication also allows me to teach writing in a clear, engaging, and accessible way. Above all, I aim to create a professional and supportive environment where students feel confident, challenged, and capable of achieving strong results.
