Hi! I’m Mariella, a Veterinary Medicine student at the University of Cambridge, where I also graduated from with a First Class BA (Hons) in Zoology in 2022. I achieved top grades at A-Level, including A*s in Biology and Maths, and an A in both Chemistry and a Biology-focused EPQ. I also hold 11 GCSEs, with seven Grade 9s, so I understand what it takes to succeed academically across a wide range of subjects.
With over three years of experience in education, I’ve worked with students from primary school through to college, helping them build confidence and reach their academic goals. I offer tutoring in all GCSE subjects and A-Level support in STEM areas (particularly Biology, Chemistry, and Maths). My approach is adaptable, engaging, and student-focused; I aim to make lessons both effective and enjoyable.
I also specialise in mentoring students through the university application process, including guidance on personal statements, interview preparation, and admissions tests. Having gone through the rigorous Oxbridge application process myself, I can offer a unique insight into this process. I can also help students applying to competitive courses such as Veterinary Medicine, Natural Sciences, and other science-related degrees.
