My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I can clearly explain new concepts step by step. Students can practise with guided questions and independently and I can help whenever needed. I can adapt lessons to suit different students and their learning styles and focus on building confidence as well as improving understanding. As a Year 11 student, I am familiar with the current curriculum and common challenges, allowing me to explain topics in a simple way. Im predicated all 7’s and above for all of my GCSE subjects and predicted a grade 8 for maths. I’m strong in maths and consistently achieve high marks in tests in any topic! I can tailor lessons to whatever the student needs in terms of content covered, question styles, or teaching approaches. I’m 16 so I can understand how overwhelming some difficult topics can be, so I can work on breaking them down simply for students to ensure they understand. My aim is not only to improve grades, but to help students feel more confident and positive about maths. I am patient, friendly, and encouraging, creating a comfortable space where students feel able to ask questions and learn from mistakes without pressure. Although I have not formally tutored before, I am confident in my ability to teach and support students effectively. I am patient, helpful, organised, and committed to helping others learn. I can explain things clearly and will always make sure students fully understand before moving on to new topics!
